Structuring is happen in the beginning session. It is important as counselor do structuring properly because it help in building the relationship with the client and to make sure that client aware what going to be happen in counseling session. Counselor can include role of counselor and client, limitation, confidentiality and time frame.

Oke Assalamualaikum puan, puan sihat ? Alhamdulillah . Oke puan, jadi saya nak cerita sedikitlah tentang perjalan sesi kaunseling kita nih, dimana sesi kauseling kita nih akan berjalan antara 45 minit hingga sejam. Jadi puan boleh cerita apa sahaja isu yang puan mahu ceritakan. Saya cuba untuk dengar, bantu dan kita sama-sama cari jalan penyelesaiannya. Puan tak perlu risau andai kata saya akan cerita isu puan pada orang lain atau sebagainya , kerana dalam sesi ini adalah antara puan dan saya sahaja , melainkan jika saya rasa ada sesuatu yang akan memudaratkan diri puan maka ia akan terbatallah ye, jadi puan jelas ke ? Ada apa apa yang puan nak kongsi dengan saya hari ini ?
